P-3B Orion: Five P-3B Orion were delivered in 1969 to 333 Squadron Markings: 6599 / 6600 / 6601 / 6602 / 6603 The aircraft were modified in 1976 in the USA In 1979 two additional (used) P-3B's were purchased from the US Navy they were modified in 1981 in the USA Markings: 576 / 583 Five of the P-3B's were later sold to Spain - two converted to P-3N's P-3C III Orion: Four P-3C III Orion were purchased and delivered in 1989 Markings: 3296 / 3297 / 3298 / 3299 they were modified to P-3C UIP (Update Improvement Program) standards in the USA between 1997 and 2000 P-3N Orion: Two P-3B units (4576 / 6603) were modified to P-3N standards NOTE: All aircraft in Norwegian military service are operated by the Royal Norwegian Air Force (Luftforsvaret)! |
